CARDO installed solar electricity in Makorombo community, Safroko Limba Chiefdom, as part of the Youth in Agriculture for Education initiative. The initiative aims to give communities the tools to grow food, learn and live with dignity: free education, clean water, solar energy and seed rice for food sufficiency.
Children gathered around the new solar light. More villages remain without power, and CARDO is looking for support to reach them.
