CARDO marked International Women's Day on 8 March 2024, under the theme of empowering women. The day is a chance to reflect on progress towards gender equality and to acknowledge the challenges women still face, including gender-based violence, unequal access to education and health care, and limited representation in leadership.
We remain committed to advocating for girls' and women's rights and opportunities in Sierra Leone.
